“How would you describe shopping with Henry in 3 words?
“Eye opening, fun, too short!”
How would you describe the results of us working together in 3 words?
“The new me!”
What positive changes has it had on your life? Have you received any feedback from friends, family or work colleagues?
“I haven't started my new job yet however I am starting day one with a new refined image and confidence in my look and I can't wait. I have my go to pieces so the 5 mins I get (from my kids) in the morning to get dressed is now a breeze - I feel I look the part!”
How did you find working with a male personal shopper? What would you tell someone who was potentially hesitant to do so?
“It would never even cross my mind so I can't really answer that one. Cant see why it would be an issue. Who cares male of female if they are good at their job?”
Which part of the process did you find most interesting or enjoyable? Why was this?
“Most interesting was how I felt after the shop and how confident I was with what I had learned. Suddenly I had no desire to trawl through The OutNet but knew exact specific styles and looks to go for. I don't normally enjoy shopping and traipsing around shops however spending time with Henry and not having to leave the fitting room was perfect for me. I also felt I could be honest and had an opinion I could trust even when I questioned outfits or wanted to try something else.”
Were there any parts of the process that you found less useful or enjoyable? If so, why?
“I was not able to purchase too many items on the day and did not go away with a specific complete outfit/look. I think this is important to go away with at least one or two as you can get started straight away. Some of the items I felt less confident about at the time I went back to buy afterwards and love wearing. I think it took me time to feel confident not to wear the same things I had always been wearing and change it up a bit.”
Have you had any experiences with a personal shopper before me? (In-store, online or independent?) What were the noticeable differences?
“Only ever Henry when we went shopping with him for my husbands wedding suit. Ever since I had been waiting for an opportunity for me to have a turn as I knew how useful it would be.””
